This Thanksgiving, One Can One Kid is preparing to make sure no family in our community goes without a warm meal. For the past several years, we’ve worked tirelessly to provide hot, freshly prepared meals to families in need, and we’re committed to making 2024 our biggest year yet. But we can’t do it without your help.
To make this possible, we’re asking for donations and volunteers to help us fund, prepare, and distribute meals to families who are struggling this Thanksgiving. With your support, we can ensure that everyone in our community has something to be thankful for.
Why This Matters:
Food insecurity continues to be a challenge for many families, especially during the holidays. For some, the added expense of a Thanksgiving meal is simply not feasible. This is where our community can come together and make a difference. Our goal for 2024 is to provide 50+ families with a complete Thanksgiving meal, including freshly smoked turkeys and all the traditional sides.
With your donations, we can cover the cost of these meals, and with your time, we can make sure every family receives their food hot and fresh on Thanksgiving Day.
